Season 2008 Well we have finally done it and skunked a caribou hunter. Although he had some good chances, we just could not make it happen. Sorry it had to be you Darrell. Other then that, we had an excellent season. The caribou we took were above average, one of them taken with a blackpowder rifle. Moose hunting was not easy by any means; it hardly ever is but we had good success. Only one hunter had no chance at all. The quality of bulls taken was up too: two over 50 inches and quite a few in the high 40s . Thanks to everybody who helped to make this a successful year; and a special thanks to you Chris, I could not have done it without you. Caribou success rate: almost 100%; Opportunity: 100% Moose success rate: 89%; Opportunity: 94%
